Learning is fun.
Applying, what we learn, is not so much fun.
why is it that learning about furniture is more fun than actually making a chair?
when we learn, we narrate a story to ourselves; we are the audience. Thats how its fun.
when we apply, what we have learnt, then its our time to create a story. we, then, are the story makers. thats why its not fun anymore. its called work.
But this 'work' don't actually have to be boring in any way, at all.
even if i am putting lights in a space, i can do it in a meaningful (as a story) way, so that i create something important at the end of it all.
The same applies to learning as well.
So anything, Education or Application, if done with a meaning is fun. Otherwise everything is boring :-)
